Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the iPhone app Free Motivator Plank Timer (“the App”) handles information. The App is designed to keep your data on your device.
1. Summary
- We do not require an account.
- We do not collect personal information on our servers.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- Plank history and settings stay on your iPhone unless you choose to share them yourself (for example by taking a screenshot).
2. Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your device:
- Plank session history — start time and duration of finished sessions, used for History & Stats.
- App settings — preferences such as announcement schedule, speech/beep options, and voice style.
This information is saved using standard on-device storage (including local files and iOS preferences). It is not uploaded to us.
3. Information we do not collect
The App does not collect or transmit:
- Name, email address, or contact details
- Location data
- Health or Fitness data from Apple Health
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or crash reports to third parties
4. Speech, audio, and Live Activities
- Spoken announcements use Apple’s on-device text-to-speech. Spoken phrases are generated on your device.
- Beeps and background audio play locally so cues can continue while you hold a plank.
- Live Activities / Dynamic Island (when available) show your timer using Apple system features on your device. We do not operate a push server for these activities.
5. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data from users, there is no child-specific data collection practice to describe beyond this.
6. Data retention and deletion
Session history remains on your device until you delete individual sessions, clear all history in the App, or remove the App (which deletes its local data).
7. Third parties
The App does not share your plank history or settings with third parties. Apple may process limited technical information as part of operating iOS, the App Store, and related system services under Apple’s own privacy policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
